New Beginnings Children’s Home began as the dream of our founder, Daniel Kiilu, who was inspired by his volunteer work at a children’s home in Mombasa. His passion to provide vulnerable children with love, shelter, education, and care turned into reality in 2018, when he opened the doors of New Beginnings in Utawala, Nairobi County.
Since then, we have welcomed children from the streets, slums, and poor backgrounds — children who had lost their families or had no safe place to call home. With the support of friends, donors, churches, and government officers, we continue to rescue, nurture, and transform young lives every day.

To improve the lives of orphans, semi-orphans, abandoned, and street children by providing them with shelter, food, education, and protection.
Across Kenya, countless children face uncertain futures. Urbanization, poverty, family breakdown, HIV/AIDS, and neglect have left thousands of children vulnerable. Many are forced to the streets, where they battle hunger, abuse, child labor, crime, and exploitation. Without intervention, their dreams fade away too soon.
